Wednesday, May 3

Visit Whitney Gardens' majestic seven acres at the foot of the Olympic Mountains. Among rare trees and ponds you will see the most beautiful array of rhododendron hybrids and species in the Northwest. You will also see an abundance of azaleas, magnolias, maples, conifers, camellias, kalmias, perennials, trees, shrubs and ground cover. Next on the itinerary is Hoodsport and a "Sip and Browse" at the Hoodsport Winery, a small award winning winery with a spectacular view of the Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains. There will be time to explore Hoodsport and enjoy lunch at The Tides Restaurant (on your own). On our way home, we will stop at Hamma Hamma for oysters!

Friday, April 28

Visit Poulsbo's Maritime/Heritage Museums which showcase the rich maritime history of the area and capture the cultural heritage and the daily lives of Poulsbo families. There will be time to stroll down Front Street as it winds its way through the heart of town. Discover shops that offer everything from Scandinavian gifts to fine art. If it is a tasty treat that you are after, look for world famous bread, handmade European chocolates, gourmet coffees and a variety of American and ethnic cuisine where you can enjoy lunch (on your own). Enjoy the view from a beach at Waterfront Park or follow the unique boardwalk along the shore. There is a day full of fun and food in Washington’s "Little Norway" on the chord. Stop at Central Market on the way home completes our day!

Thursday, April 20

Visit multi-acre fields of tulips and daffodils grown in the fertile Skagit River Valley, generally in a 15-mile triangle bordered by Highway 20, the Skagit River, and the Swinomish Channel.

We will stop at RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town to enjoy the vivid display. Lunch, on your own, at Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill & Irish Pub (formerly known as the Farmhouse Restaurant.)
