The Hoh Rain Forest, along the Hoh River - Forks area, is one of the best examples of old-growth temperate rain forest in North America. The area offers two short loop trails as well as a longer out-and-back trail through the forest. We will go rain or shine! (After all, it is the rain forest.) Be prepared! Bring an extra pair of shoes and/or rain gear. Pack a lunch or pick up something in Forks on the way. Enjoy a picnic in nature’s splendor!

PORT ANGELES HERITAGE TOUR

Get the dirt on the history of Port Angeles with a walking tour!

The tour begins at Hollywood Beach with a fascinating explanation of the history of the city. We'll then take a stroll through downtown Port Angeles to visit all the story telling murals. After the tour, you will take home your very own print of your favorite mural from the day. The cost of the print alone is $10!

In the early 1900s, the citizens of Port Angeles worked out an incredible plan to elevate the city's downtown streets due to flooding concerns. We'll learn the tactics used to raise the city streets in 1914 and other facts about our city's history. Must be able to walk or travel 1+ miles comfortably on sidewalks and city streets. Afterwards, you can join us for a lunch (on your own) at the New Day Eatery.

SILVERDALE - TRADER JOE'S

It is time to check your Christmas list! We will be heading to some of our favorite shops in Silverdale: Kohl's, T.J. Maxx and Target. For lunch (on your own) you can go to Olive Garden, Red Lobster or stay at the Mall and enjoy a meal there. On our way home we will stop at Trader Joe's.
