Friday, September 27

Explore a different neighborhood of Victoria! We are going to Oak Bay Village, a quaint strip of Oak Bay Avenue, lined with a number of unique, locally-owned shops, who sell art, books, chocolate, just to name a few. Enjoy the easy pace and the sights and sounds of friends and travelers mingling in one of the many coffee shops, tea rooms or pubs. This area is also known for its green spaces that offer panoramic views of the Olympic Peninsula. Oak Bay recently installed several large pieces of public art, including four hand-painted pianos that can be played by passersby! We will also have the opportunity to visit the Oak Bay Marina. There are dining options but don’t forget to say “hello” to the resident harbor seals!

Before we depart on the ferry, we will have some time at Fisherman’s Wharf for a delicious snack or a chance for a great photo op!
