Community Walk

Saturdays, 9 am, (weather permitting)

The group meets up at Hollywood beach at 9 am and walks for 1 hour. Everyone walks at their own pace but no one walks alone!

NEW!!! BALANCE CLASS


Starting Friday, August 5th the class will be in the Multipurpose Room Monday’s 3:30-4:30 and Friday’s 9-10. $9 per
class.

Bio:
Libby has been a movement teacher since taking her Pilates training in 2007, but as an avid learner she has also certified in YogAlign, Nutritious Movement, MovNat, FRC and has participated in numerous workshops by The Foot Collective, Gait Happens, and Restore Your Core, to name a few. Libby specializes in restorative work, balance, gait analysis, core function and alignment, but can happily challenge any body part! Libby’s mission is to educate clients, teach them how to identify their own movement patterns, give them skills to change those patterns and to guide them into better overall movement.

Class description:
Balance Boot camp is a floor to core class that will teach you how the feet, lower limbs, hips, core and upper body all play a part in balance and gait. Better balance is achieved when we have both mobility and strength, so both will be addressed in this fun and sometimes challenging class. Balance is a whole body activity, so be ready to work from your feet to your head!
